Anahit Avanesyan, Armenia's Health Minister, is in Geneva for the 76th World Health Assembly. During the visit, the minister met with Hans Kluge, the head of the WHO's European Regional Office.
They talked about the Republic of Armenia's healthcare reforms, the scope of which, according to Hans Kluge, is impressive. In Armenia, a global meeting of WHO Rapid Response Medical Teams was successfully held. They also discussed the mental health programmes that have been implemented. Apart from this, the targeting of ambulances on RA territory, as well as the humanitarian situation in Nagorno-Karabakh was talked about.
