During her visit to Gyumri, Health Minister Anahit Avanesyan emphasized the significance of working visits to the marzes, as they provide an opportunity to directly observe the region's issues, make informed decisions for their resolution, and communicate ongoing programs to the local communities. Avanesyan also highlighted the importance of receiving feedback on reforms from the regions during the project phase.

In a meeting with Governor Mushegh Muradyan and representatives of the Governor's office, the Minister discussed the implementation of comprehensive medical insurance. She assured that the process is progressing rapidly and emphasized the need for regional medical centers to be prepared to deliver extensive and high-quality healthcare services as soon as possible.

Avanesyan inquired about the conditions and equipment in medical centers and outpatient clinics throughout the region. It was collectively agreed that every community must have access to medical care, ensuring that no locality is left without healthcare services.

Accompanied by the Governor, the Minister conducted a tour of the Gyumri Medical Center and visited the newly established department of paralysis and neurology. This modern facility, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and staffed by skilled specialists under the Ministry of Health's program, provides medical services not only to residents of Shirak but also to those from the neighboring Lori region.
