ASG Eye Hospital has unveiled an ambitious “Vision 2030” roadmap, outlining plans to invest between ₹1,500–2,000 crore to significantly scale its national footprint. With more than 175 hospitals and around 200 vision centres already operating across 95 cities, the eye-care chain now aims to expand to 600–700 centres over the next six years, with a strong focus on Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities where access to specialised eye care remains limited.
The network intends to pursue a combination of acquisitions, new multispecialty hospitals, and district-level centres to accelerate this growth. Each year, ASG plans to acquire 8–10 specialised ophthalmic practices, establish 5–7 advanced hospitals, and launch roughly 100 district-level centres to deepen its reach.
This strategy is driven by the company’s goal to close the gap in quality eye-care services across underserved regions and ensure that financial or geographic barriers do not hinder access to treatment.
To support this expansion, ASG expects to raise around ₹1,000 crore through private placement or a public offering within the next 12–18 months, supplemented by internal accruals and debt financing. The company also intends to incorporate tele-ophthalmology and collaborate through public-private partnerships to strengthen access in remote locations, enabling advanced diagnostics and remote consultations for communities that need them most.
ASG’s Vision 2030 marks a major step toward bringing comprehensive, high-quality eye care closer to every corner of the country.
