Electronic medical books to appear in Kazakhstan

Kazakhstan intends to implement electronic personal health records according to the draft order of the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Control.The document specifies the procedures for issuing, recording, and keeping personal medical books.
According to the innovation, organizations with a license for medical activities and a medical information system with a personal medical book module will issue electronic medical books or personal medical books. An electronic medical book is issued in electronic digital form with a mark on admission to work and is certified by an electronic digital signature, according to the project. (EDS).
The results of medical examinations and laboratory tests are entered into the Medical Information System and a single sample's personal medical book. The owner's photo is fixed in electronic format in the personal medical book; it also indicates the period of admission to work with the date, the person's name, the electronic digital signature of the specialist, and the QR code of the healthcare subject.
