In a landmark move to advance healthcare innovation, India’s Centre for Cellular and Molecular Platforms (C-CAMP) and France’s PariSanté Campus have joined forces to establish the Indo-French Life Sciences Sister Innovation Hub. The initiative, unveiled at the Paris AI Summit, was officially announced by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron, underscoring the two nations' commitment to collaborative research in One Health and Digital Health Technologies.

The partnership aims to accelerate medical breakthroughs, leveraging the strengths of both countries’ research institutions, academia, and businesses. By fostering cross-border collaboration, the innovation hub is set to develop cutting-edge healthcare solutions tailored to regional and global challenges.

Welcoming the initiative, Dr. Taslimarif Saiyed, Director-CEO of C-CAMP, emphasized its transformative potential:
"This collaboration signals a strong commitment from both nations to enhance healthcare quality and accessibility. Our goal is to mobilize a global network of excellence, uniting researchers and innovators across geographies to pioneer next-generation solutions."

Echoing similar sentiments, Mark Lamy, Consul General of France in Bangalore, highlighted the hub’s significance:
"By bringing together the best of our innovation ecosystems, this partnership will drive progress in two critical domains—One Health and Digital Health—benefiting communities worldwide."

The Letter of Intent (LoI), signed by Dr. Saiyed and Professor Antoine Tesnière, Director of PariSanté Campus, formalizes a deeper Indo-French engagement in healthcare research. As both nations strengthen their ties in life sciences and technology, this initiative marks a pivotal step toward a healthier, more connected world.
