India’s homeopathy industry is witnessing a notable surge in both domestic and international demand, driven by rising confidence in quality-certified “Made in India” medicines and a strategic push by the government to elevate global standards.
At the centre of this transformation is the AYUSH Premium Mark, an initiative aimed at certifying homeopathic products that meet internationally recognised quality benchmarks. The move, backed by the government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is increasingly positioning India as a credible global supplier in the alternative medicine space.
Industry experts say the shift reflects a broader change in perception. Indian homeopathy, once largely viewed as a domestic strength, is now emerging as a competitive player in global markets.
