In a landmark move for preventive healthcare, Meyer Vitabiotics has launched India’s largest-ever bone health screening initiative, setting a new national record by screening over 72,000 individuals across the country within just one month.
The nutraceutical company organised 1,342 camps across metro cities as well as tier-2 and tier-3 towns, reaching a diverse population with the goal of raising awareness about bone health and early detection of conditions like osteoporosis. The initiative has been officially recognised by both the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records.
Participants underwent free bone mineral density screenings and received personalised nutritional counselling, along with education on maintaining bone strength through balanced diets and lifestyle changes.
Sudeep Mukherjee, President – India Business at Meyer Vitabiotics, said the programme brought together doctors, diagnostics partners, and wellness experts to provide scientifically sound assessments and advice. The screenings revealed early signs of bone weakness and nutritional deficiencies in several communities, underscoring the growing need for proactive bone health management.
The initiative aligns with Meyer Vitabiotics’ broader mission to promote preventive wellness and reduce the burden of non-communicable diseases through awareness, early intervention, and community engagement.
