Pfizer has appointed Ujjawal Goel as its new Director – Vaccines Data Products, marking a key addition to its global vaccines and data leadership.
Goel, who announced the move on LinkedIn, brings over 14 years of experience in enterprise data strategy, governance, and product innovation. His work spans commercial, medical, and market-access functions across major global biotech and pharmaceutical companies.
Throughout his career, he has built and scaled advanced data ecosystems, delivered high-impact compliant solutions, and supported strategic decision-making at executive levels. Goel has also led several data and digital transformation initiatives and helped develop innovative data products now used by more than 30 life-sciences organisations globally.
Before joining Pfizer, he served as Director – MDM & Data Governance at Genentech for over three years, following a decade of diverse roles at ZS Associates.
Goel’s appointment underscores Pfizer’s push toward deeper data-driven innovation in vaccine research, development, and delivery—an area that continues to grow in strategic importance for the company.
