Rostec plans to make the first deliveries of the domestic drug Biogam for the treatment of immunodeficiency diseases this summer, according to CEO Sergey Chemezov, during a meeting with Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin dedicated to the company's activities in 2022.
"In terms of pharmaceutical preparations, we have developed a new immunodeficiency drug called "Biogam." For the treatment of AIDS patients, including the treatment and prevention of infectious disease development, as well as organ transplantation. "We expect the first deliveries in the summer, and all tests are being completed," Chemezov said.
It was revealed at the end of 2022 that NPO Microgen was bringing the first domestic intravenous normal human immunoglobulin in the form of a 10% solution to market. The Russian Ministry of Health issued a registration certificate for a new drug on December 5.
