Max Healthcare to Enter Gujarat with 800-Bed Multispeciality Hospital
Max Healthcare currently operates 21 healthcare facilities with more than 6,100 beds across Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra and Odisha.

Max Healthcare is set to make its entry into Gujarat with plans to establish an 800-bed multispeciality hospital, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel announced on September 1.
The development follows a meeting between Patel and Abhay Soi, Chairman and Managing Director of Max Healthcare, in Delhi. During the meeting, the two discussed the healthcare major’s plans to establish a large-scale medical facility in the state, marking its entry into Gujarat’s healthcare sector.
According to Patel, Max Healthcare is also looking at expanding its presence in Gandhinagar and Surat as part of its future growth plans in the state.
Patel said the discussions covered Max Healthcare’s proposed 800-bed hospital as well as its longer-term expansion plans. He also highlighted Gujarat’s urban planning framework and favourable Floor Space Index (FSI) policies, which he said support the development of large healthcare infrastructure projects.
Max Healthcare currently operates 21 healthcare facilities with more than 6,100 beds across Delhi-NCR, Haryana, Punjab, Uttarakhand, Maharashtra and Odisha. The healthcare provider has set a target of expanding its network to 10,000 beds over the next three to four years.
